Q: If not a singer then what would you have been?
A: Singing has been my first priority always, I cannot afford the thought of not been a singer. If I would not have been a singer, I doubt if I would have ever existed.
Q: Are you a bathroom singer too?
A: Yes ofcourse! I am a permanent bathroom singer(smiling)
Q: What do you do in your leisure hours?
A: I got the best of both worlds, I am not a star off screen. When not working, I call all the ‘velle’ friends of mine, hangout, eat, party and do all the regular stuff a common man does.
Q: Where do you see yourself after 15 years from now?
A: Since I have discovered my love for literature I would like to grow in this and its my dream to promote Punjabi folk music on an international level.
Q: How important fame is for you?
Ans-well fame! Yes it is important but what matters more is the path chosen for it.
Q: Currently what all do you have achieved and what more to achieve?
A: I have earned enough of fame. From past couple of years i have also discovered my interest in literature and now I can see myself growing intellectually.
Q: What inspires you for music?
A: Music in never off my head. I see music in anything and everything .The world is full of sound what i call ‘music’. The rotation of fan, swirling of plants, even the chair you are sitting on. Every single sound inspires me.
Q: Person you admire most from music industry?
A: I want my personality to be the amalgamation of Zakir Hussain and A.R Rahman.
Q: Song near your heart?
A: Many are there ,like one presently in my mind is jagjeet sing ji’s ‘’mitti da bawa’’ It’s a Punjabi folk song, very beautifully written, very beautifully sung, it’s a pleasure to my ears.
Q: If you have to write an autobiography what will you name it and why? What would you like to write?
A: Ummm…… ‘’Mess Around’’
My life is a whole mess. So this is what suits the best hahahaha!
Q: What do you spend most on-clothes, accessories etc?
A: Clothes .Jeans, t-shirts and yes pajamas. I am the king of pajamas.
Q: Define your sense of style?
Ans- My style is no style. I Associate my comfort with my style.
Q: Song which describes you or your situation of life?
A: ‘Dil le gyi khudi’ is the song of my life.
