From behavioral to health education women have their hands in. it’s a woman who teaches how to behave, how to speak and how to deal with different classes of people. These all are the basic fundamentals of a good society and women are the main contributors in building up a strong society.
In today’s era, a women’s role is not confined only to look after to the household but also to discharge their work and social responsibilities.
Here’s a peek into the brisk corporate world, showcasing how women poise their work, personal and professional life amicably.
Q: What Organisation(NGO) do you work with and why?
Save Cow’s Life organisation for cow protection is incorporated in the India(Virndavan), as a Non Profit Organisation. Our team is dedicated towards cow protection & betterment of the condition of the cow. The establishment of the “save cow’s life” aims to alleviate the sufferings of the bulls and cows by providing necessary medicines and first aid. We also hope to provide permanent shelter through established and worthy ‘goshalas’. It is our desire to involve members of the community on a personal level by going door to door to request rotis which we will serve to the Cows and Bulls on the street. We are confident that this humble service will please the Supreme Lord. It is our pleasure to serve our Mother and Father in this way – there is no doubt that all auspiciousness will come for us as individuals, communities, and nations.
Q: How & When you started working with the Organisation(NGO)?
It is been more than a year. I was introduced by one of my friend to this organisation. He and his other friends started this NGO. Everyday after work, I dedicate my 1 to 2 hours working on the ‘Save cow’s life’ project and on weekends we organize events to make the message impactful.
Q: Where do you hope to reach through this organisation (NGO)?
I am not aiming to reach anywhere. I am just trying to spread this message to society that we all should care for our mother cow.
The scriptures say the following about Mother cow, “Tvam mata sarva devanam.” – Means you are mother of all demigods as well. She nourishes demigods by her ghee. When demigods are nourished the rains and seasonal changes happen on time .The main prana (living force) for all living entities are received from Mother cow. The cow has also been associated with various deities, notably Shiva(whose steed is Nandi, a bull), Indra (closely associated with Kamadhenu, the wish-granting cow), Krishna (a cowherd in his youth), and goddesses in general (because of the maternal attributes of many of them).
Q: Does this hamper your work?.
No. If you have passion for something, time is not barrier and everything manages automatically.
Q: How do you balance your professional, work & social life?
It is just you need to set your priority in life and you divide your time accordingly.
Q: Message to the other working professionals?
Been truly said ‘man is a social animal’. So we, The corporate people, being such vital part of the society owe even big contribution to our society. If each one of us share our bit to the society, world would be a better place.
